I am lucky to have met Star. She has been very helpful with improving my English speaking and writing, as well as introducing me to many western idioms. By speaking with her on a regular basis, I made progress in just one month. Star’s classes are so much fun, and because she is so knowledgeable, we talk about many different subjects during the class. Unfortunately, the time always passes far too quickly. She is such a great teacher and is now also a friend. Her classes are well prepared, she is patient, fun, caring and more! I really hope many people find Star and enjoy her classes as much as I have. Star has tutored me in English via the web on the WeChat app since 2017, and most recently, while I was preparing for my college English exams. I met Star and her husband in Kaifeng, China in April 2018. Since then, she has given me guidance in English on WeChat. She corrects my pronunciation with some oral content and gives me practice homework. I was so lucky to meet her and she is so patient with helping me. Star (whom the children call Panda), respects the students during the teaching process, is all inclusive with a free teaching atmosphere that is advantageous to the student to participate in the classroom activity in an active way. She is always seen giving a thumbs-up in class. She is good at capturing every bright spot of every child. While educating a child, she always kneels down to make herself as tall as the children, looks at the child with affectionate eyes and gives them a thumbs-up with a kind smile. When Star smiles and gives a thumbs-up, the children are happy, confident and motivated. We first met in Luoyang, Henan Province, China. We have known each other since Spring of 2018. I miss the time that we met at the Longmen Grottoes. In my eyes, Star and her husband are my friends.
